University of Oregon Looking to Replace Adjuncts with Tenure-Track Faculty
In interview with Chronicle of Higher Education, University President Michael Schill discusses that and plan to focus more on academics.

In an interview with the Chronicle of Higher Education, University of Oregon President Michael Schill says he wants to replace adjunct professors with tenure-track faculty and focus its marketing more on academics than athletics.
"We really needed to do was reorient our public relations towards academics," he told the publication. "We need to do is get out to the world information about our research and about our faculty."
Schill also told the Chronicle that the university needs to focus its hiring in the future on research and tenure track faculty.
