West Linn Police Chief Investigated, Placed On Administrative Leave
Chief Terry Timeus is being investigated for "potential personnel policy violations," police said. Captain Neil Hennelly is interim chief.

WEST LINN, OR — The West Linn city manager's office on Thursday released an announcement notifying the community that Police Chief Terry Timeus has been placed on administrative leave pending an investigation into "potential personnel policy violations," West Linn police officials said in a statement.
The investigation, officials said, is being conducted by a third party on the city's behalf and will "ensure accountability at all levels in the department."
The city has not explained what specifically Timeus is being investigated for, but said in a statement that all will be revealed upon the investigation's completion.
