West Linn Police Identify Man Killed by Officer April 21
Chance Rickie Thompson, 25, was killed by Officer Brad Moyle Friday, April 21. Thompson was reportedly armed and suicidal.
WEST LINN, OR – West Linn police on Monday released the name of the man shot and killed by Officer Brad Moyle April 21.
Chance Rickie Thompson, 25, was reportedly suicidal and carrying a firearm when he was killed.
Moyle was dispatched to the 2100-block of Long Street in the Sunset neighborhood shortly after 10:15 p.m. Friday in response to reports of an armed suicidal man, police said. Following the shooting, Moyle was placed on administrative leave pending an investigation.
