Both vehicles were each occupied by two people, police said, adding that speed is considered a factor in the crash.
In the Mustang, police found one person had been killed and the other was suffering from serious, life-threatening injuries. In the Chevy, one person sustained non-life-threatening injuries while the other was not hurt in anyway that required a medical transport to hospital.
