Up To 40 Inches Of Snow Could Fall On Oregon

PORTLAND, OR -- Keep all that winter gear out -- Oregon will continue to see a lot of snow this weekend. The National Weather Service issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the region through Sunday, forecasting the region will see between 20 to 40 inches of snow.

The weather service predicts eight to 16 inches of snow are for Saturday, with heavy snow developing late in the night through early Sunday evening. During that time, another 12 to 24 inches of snow are expected, the agency said.

The agency warned that drivers should expect snow-covered roads and limited visibilities.
