4/20 In Portland: How to Celebrate
It's the first 4/20 since recreational marijuana became legal in Portland. Here's some things to do.

- Take a bus tour celebrating the history of marijuana in Portland. ORHistory has two tours leaving today - one at 3:15 p.m. and one at 7 p.m.. The tour includes a stop at the Collective Awakenings dispensary. Tickets are $32. Organizers suggest not driving. Instead, they say, mass transit, a cab, or have a friend pick you up.
- Head to Pure Green, a family owned cannabis store in Northeast Portland where DJ OZ Rock will headline the party starting at 4 p.m.. Laurel wood Brewery will be providing the beer.
- Head to the Southeast location of Bridge City Collective, which says it is "dedicated to providing Oregon's medical marijuana patients with the most superior products available." From Noon to 1:30 p.m., they will be giving out free hotbox BBQ sandwiches.
- Doobie or Not Doobie? A reading tonight from the Poeming Pigeon, a magazine featuring pot-themed works. At Ford Food and Drink on SE 11th beginning at 7 p.m..
- Head to Mt. Tabor. Smoking in public may be illegal but there is always a large crowd at 4:20 on 4/20. Listen for the drums and you will find the crowd.
