American Airlines Plane Blows Tire Taking Off From PDX
The plane landed safely in Phoenix.

An American Airlines flight blew out a tire on takeoff from Portland on Friday morning. It landed safely in Phoenix a couple of hours later.
Officials say that the pilot declared an emergency soon after takeoff.
The plane was met at Sky Harbor International Airport in Phoenix by several fire trucks that were, fortunately, not needed.

The plane was towed to the gate. None of the 157 passengers and crew members were not injured.
