PORTLAND, OREGON - After a rained-out event last year, the Annual Rose City Classic Tennis Tournament is officially returning. The 3rd Annual Tournament will be held at Century High School in Portland, Oregon, on June 6th, 2026 from 12:00pm - 4:00pm PST. This one-day event, hosted by the Kelly Johnson Foundation, is expected to bring together some local tennis talent on-court for a day of intense competition, while supporting the community.

The 3rd Annual Rose City Classic is a USTA-sanctioned, adult tournament hosted every year. The Kelly Johnson Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering community and individual passions, is hosting this year's edition at the Century High School Tennis Courts in Hillsboro. The tournament boasts a variety of playing options across eight divisions, including Men's Doubles (Combo NTRP 8.0), Women's Doubles (Combo NTRP 8.0), Mixed Doubles (Combo NTRP 8.0), Men's Singles (NTRP 3.0, 3.5, 4.0), & Women's Singles (NTRP 3.5 & 4.0).

Every participant stands a chance to win enticing raffle prizes valued at up to $100. Credits will be bestowed upon the victorious teams/players in each division.

Tickets to participate in the tournament are priced at $37 per doubles player and $42 per singles player. Beyond player roles, individuals can engage with the event through volunteering, spectating, or sponsoring opportunities.

Kelly, the founder of The Kelly Johnson Foundation and host of the tournament, expresses her enthusiasm and gratitude for the event and its participants, stating, "We’re excited to bring the Rose City Classic back for its third year with a new location and a new summer date. Each year this tournament continues to grow, and we’re looking forward to welcoming players and spectators for a great weekend of tennis and hopefully some perfect Portland metro summer weather!"

The Kelly Johnson Foundation proudly drives positive change through its Pay It Forward Initiative, partnering with Starting Line Youth Alliance 501(c)3 to donate new and gently used tennis gear to children in need in the surrounding Portland metro area. Participants are encouraged to contribute items to the collection bin on-site, with a goal of gathering 30 items to kickstart its 3rd annual event.
