Armed Convict Sought as "Person of Interest" in Murder of Young Mom
Columbia County Sheriff's Office looking for 28-year-old Jesse A. Lane. He should be considered armed and dangerous, they say.
A 28-year-old convicted felon who should be considered armed and dangerous is being sought in connection with the murder of a young mother from Portland last week. The Columbia County Sheriff's Office says they are looking to talk with Jesse A. Lane.
The sherif's office are calling Lane a person of interest in connection with the murder of 24-year-old Apache Rose Hightower, a young mother who was found murdered on September 20th in a rural part of Columbia County.
Lane is a white male adult, 6'-1" tall, weighing approximately 145 pounds with brown hair, brown eyes and tattoos on his elbow, left arm, neck, and right forearm. He also has a tattoo of the letter "B" just below the corner of his right eye that has been added since the last photo we have of him had been taken.

His last known address is in Jackson County but he has been seen recently in Portland and St. Helens.
