Bank Robber Gets Five Years in Prison
Narong Duangchathom robbed four banks in two weeks.

A man who was convicted of robbing four banks in two weeks was sentenced to five-and-a-half years in prison.
Narong Duangchathom was homeless at the time and, according to his lawyer, had gambling and cocaine problems.
The robberies netted him less than $8,000.

Prosecutors had argued for a seven-year sentence.
Duangchathom will also spend three years on supervised release and has been ordered to stay out of all sorts of establishments where gambling occurs such as casinos and places where there's video lottery.
