Bank Robbery Suspect Wanted; $1,000 Reward Offered

Information leading to the arrest of the Albina Community Bank robber could be rewarded with cash from Crime Stoppers of Oregon.

PORTLAND, OR — Crime Stoppers of Oregon is offering up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of a Northeast Portland bank robbery suspect.

The Portland Police Bureau and FBI Safe Streets Task Force have asked the community for help identifying the man accused of robbing the Albina Community Bank just after 11 a.m. Nov. 27.

The suspect, a Hispanic man in his 30s, reportedly robbed the bank at 2002 N.E. Martin Luther King Junior Blvd. while holding a knife. The man left the bank without incident after taking an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.

The man is described as roughly 5-foot-3 and 120 pounds. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a multi-shade gray hoodie, a black backpack, and a black baseball cap.

Information reported to Crime Stoppers that leads to an arrest for this felony crime is eligible for a $1,000 reward. Even information learned from Facebook, Twitter, or YouTube should be shared, authorities said.
