Blazers Win Clipping Clipper Lead to 2-1

Lillard and McCollum lead the way for Rip City.

One day after being named the NBA's Most Improved Player, C.J.. McCollum kept it up, scoring 27 points in helping lead the Blazers to a 96-88 victory over the L.A. Clippers.

The win, in Portland, cut the Clippers lead to 2-1 in their first round playoff series.

Portland snapped a five game losing streak to the Clippers.

Damian Lillard led the Blazers with 32 points.

It was a big win for Portland who, after averaging 105.1 points during the regular season, had been held to average of 88 points a game by the Clippers.
