A CODE RED is still in effect for Bloodworks Northwest due to a less than one- to two-day supply of critical blood types and platelets. Please consider rolling up your sleeve to save a local Pacific NW patient in need in less than an hour.

Making an appointment in advance is strongly recommended, but same-day “walk-ins” will be welcomed for the remaining available time slots.

Location: Bloodworks Northwest Bloodmobile Bus will be parked outside Regal Fox Tower at the corner of SW Park Ave. & SW Taylor St. across from Director’s Park.

Without immediate action, the situation could turn heartbreaking with a single incident. Only about 3% of people donate blood, yet, if just 1% more stepped up, we could ease shortages and stabilize the supply. They urgently need as many donors as possible at our upcoming blood drive to ensure Pacific Northwest patients have immediate access to lifesaving transfusions for cancer treatment, trauma care, and childbirth complications.
