Canadian Woman Dies In Motorcycle Crash On Highway 6
Janene Tailleur, of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, died at OHSU Wednesday after crashing her motorcycle in the Tillamook National Forest.

GALES CREEK, OR — A Canadian woman died Wednesday at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland after her motorcycle collided with a Ford F150 on Highway 6, west of Gales Creek, near milepost 31 in the Tillamook National Forest, according to Oregon State Police.
Riding her 2013 Kawasaki motorcycle, Janene Tailleur, 49, of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, was traveling east on Highway 6 when she lost control while attempting to negotiate a curve to the right, police said. As the Kawasaki went onto its side, the bike and Tailleur slid across the centerline and into the westbound lane, striking head-on the 2014 Ford F150 truck driven by Eric Kading of Portland.
At the time of the crash, police said, Kading, 33, was traveling with his wife Laura, 31, and their two kids.

Air ambulance transported Tailleur to OHSU where she was pronounced dead, police said. No one in the Ford was injured.
