PORTLAND, OR — A repeat sexual offender was sentenced Friday to life in prison without the possibility of parole. Kevin Levi Scott, 59, was found guilty for drugging and raping a homeless woman in a motel room in Southeast Portland in February 2013, Oregonlive.com reports.

Scott was charged with first-degree rape and first-degree sodomy of a then 51-year-old woman.

The woman was addicted to alcohol, and Scott lured her into a motel room with the promise of somewhere to sleep. Police said Scott manipulated, drugged and sexually assaulted the homeless woman, according to Fox12.

In 1978, Scott was convicted of first-degree sex abuse for tying up, beating and sexually assaulting a 19-year-old female. That same year, Scott was charged again with a first-degree rape conviction for the sexual assault of a 17-year-old girl, Oregonlive.com reports.
