A 12-year-old boy was struck by a pickup truck in northeast Portland. It happened just around 12:30 by the intersection of Northeast 122nd Avenue and Multnomah Street.Police say the boy ran out into the street without warning. The boy was unconscious when police arrived but regained consciousness and was taken to a hospital by ambulance.The child has serious injuries but is expected to survive. The driver of the car - a 2016 Toyota Tacoma pickup - stayed on the scene and was cooperating.
