Critically Injured Man Flags Down Car, Dies At Portland Hospital
A critically injured man in Portland who has not yet been identified, flagged down a car to take him to the hospital where he died.

PORTLAND, OR – The man staggered toward Southeast 131st Avenue and Powell Boulevard. He had been seriously injured and needed help. He was able to flag down a passing car. The driver agreed to take him to the hospital.
The man died at the hospital soon after.
Portland Police later determined that the man had been injured in the north parking lot of the Court Louise Apartments nearby on Powell.

Officers arrived just before 6 a.m. on Friday after receiving reports of a disturbance.

They found blood on the ground and witnesses who said that they had heard what was either a car backfiring or gunshots.
The medical examiner will determine how the man died and try to determine who he was.
