Portland Fire and Rescue was responsible for a very dramatic rescue Sunday morning.Firefighters were called to Southeast 148th and Grant Court.The report was a mother was in distress and her children were trapped.In this case, the mother was a duck and her children - ducklings.The firefighters arrived and found the mom circling a storm drain. They quickly removed the grate, rescued the ducklings and sent mom and ducklings on their way.All were okay.
