Don't worry, Oregon. We are not under attack. For the next three nights, the Oregon Air National Guard's 142nd Fighter Wing will be conducting routine F-15 night training missions.The evenings of October 4, 5, and 6, the wing's "Citizen-Airmen pilots" will be in the air over Portland and the surrounding area but each mission will be done by 10:30 at night.The Air National Guard says that the night training, which happens almost monthly, is essential for pilots to stay current with Air Force requirements.Photo courtesy Oregon Air National Guard
