Five Things to Do in and Around Portland This Weekend
From the Starlight Parade to the Bridgetown Comedy Festival, plenty to do this weekend. Most important thing - stay cool!

1. Starlight Parade - It all starts with the Starlight Run at 7:45 p.m.. The run is followed by by scores of floats filling downtown with light and a celebration of the city of Roses. It's the precursor to the Grand Floral Parade at the end of Rose Festival. The parade starts at 8:30 and goes through 11:00 p.m.
2. Another floral event - The Festival Flowers gets underway Friday June 3 and hoes through June 14. It's at Pioneer Courthouse Square, which is filled with more than 20,000 flowers. The event is all day and FREE!
3. Maybe, just maybe, with the temperature expected to approach 100, you want to look for something indoors. It's the annual Portland modern home tour. Lots of locations. Head here for more information.

4. Also indoors.... the Bridgetown Comedy Festival. Dozens of shows all over town through Sunday night. Head here for more information.
5. Feeling crafty? Head to the Crafty Wonderland at the Oregon Convention Center where more than 200 crafts people will have their wares on exhibit. Head here for more information.
