Five Things to Do in and Around Portland This Weekend
From Pickles to flowers to dragons. Planty to do on Sunday.

1. GET PICKLED - Baseball is back in Portland. The Portland Pickles are playing their first games as members of the Great West League this weekend, taking on the Marysville GoldSox. The league is made of college players looking to improve their skills. The game is at 7:05 p.m. at Walker Stadium in Lents at SE 92nd and Colgate. Go to www.portlandpicklesbaseball.co... for more information.
2. SHIPS AHOY! - It's the last day of Fleet Week with ships from the U.S. navy, Royal Canadian Navy, and the U.S. Coast Guard paying Portland a visit. Head on down to Waterfront Park to visit. Tours are free. Check out www.rosefestival.org/event/fle... for more information.
3. HEAD TO THE COAST - The weather's nice so why not head to Cannon Beach for the annual sandcastle contest. The sandcastles were built Saturday but most will still be standing and it doesn't cost anything to walk along the beach and take in the masterpieces before they are washed away.
