Former County Chief Now Nonprofit Executive Director
Jeff Cogen, who resigned as County Commission Chairman in a scandal, now heads Impact NW.

Jeff Cogen, who three yeas ago resigned as Multnomah County Commission Chairman during a sex scandal, has a new job.
He is the new executive director of Impact NW, which every year provides educational and social services to some 36,000 low-income children, youth, families, seniors, and adults with disabilities in the region.
Cogen had been serving as managing director.

He takes over for Susan Stoltenberg, who had been serving as executive director of both Impact NW and YWCA of Greater Portland.

The two organizations combined management structures in 2014. Stoltenberg now goes back to just running the YWCA of Greater Portland.
"What we are doing is innovative and unique," said Cogen. "Our combined effectiveness gives us more firepower to provide needed services and programs."
