Wilson admitted to using methamphetamine and will undergo assessment and possibly treatment as part of his sentence.

He will remain on probation for three years and got credit for time served.

Wilson's father, Stanley Wilson Sr., - also played in the NFL and had legal trouble. He is currently in prison in California on a burglary charge.

He was a running back for the Cincinnati Bengals and was on the team that went to the Super Bowl in 1989.

The elder Wilson, though, didn't play in the game. He had battled drug addiction, and the night before the game, relapsed.

He was finally found by one of his coaches in his hotel room bathroom where he had collapsed. Drug paraphernalia was at this side.

He was kicked out of the league after that.
