Four People Displaced After Early Morning Fire

No one was injured.

Four people were displaced when an early morning fire ripped through their home.

Portland Fire & Rescue responded just before 3:30 a.m. to a home on the 9000 block of North Tyler Avenue. There was fire in the basement, on one side of the house and in the walls of the attic.

They were able to extinguish the fire.

Disaster responders from the American Red Cross Cascades Region showed up soon after to assist four adults.

The Red Cross provided resources to help address the immediate basic needs of those affected such as temporary housing, food, clothing, comfort kits, information about recovery services, and health and mental health services
