Good Police Work Brings Christmas Cheer

Portland Police officers reunite stolen gifts with their owners.

Nana, Popi, Chloe, Hazel, Theo, Maia, Rachel, Rosie, Phil, Toby, Alex, and Ingi are resting a little easier today. Portland Police are reuniting them with their stolen Christmas gifts.

On Saturday morning, officers from the North Precinct were called to the Crown Royal Apartments at 1912 Northeast Schuyler Street. A bunch of wrapped packages had been found the day before laying by a dumpster and then brought the manager's office.

There were approximately 40 packages.

Officers were able to determine that the packages had been stolen from a car a few days ago and track down the family.

Police say that the family had not reported the theft and urge people who are the victims of a crime to report it.
