
Portland Police arrested a man in Old Town seizing cocaine, heroin, and cash. Police say that 57-year Wilmer Wade is charged with a variety of drug-related charges including delivery of heroin, delivery of heroin near a school, possession of cocaine, and possession of heroin.
Wade was arrested by officers from the Police Bureau's Street Crimes Unit on the corner of NW 6th Avenue and Flanders Street in Old Town. They approached him knowing he had an outstanding warrant.
Police say they contacted Wade without incident and found him with approximately 5 grams of heroin and 22 grams of crack cocaine packaged for sale. They also seized a cell phone, a razor blade knife, and $300 cash as evidence that Wade was involved in trafficking narcotics.
