Man Who Struck Two Pedestrians Killing One Went Home After Crash
Called 911 to say he had been involved in crash. It was the 28th traffic fatality of the year in Portland

After striking two pedestrians, killing one, 59-year-old Brent McCune drove to his home in Beaverton where he called 9-1-1 to report he had been involved in a crash.
Portland Police say that they went to his home on the 14100 block of Southwest Martingale Court, saw his car, which they seized, and arrested him.
Police say that McCune had been driving his black 2009 Volkswagen Jetta southbound on I-405 onto Highway 26 when he struck two people on the road.

He killed a 31-year-old woman and struck a 45-year-old man.
McCune, who did not stop, is charged with felony hit and run, driving under the influence, failing to perform the duties of a driver, and reckless driving.

When the case goes before the grand jury, more charges could result.
