The weekend will see the last full directional closure for the Burnside Bridge project, according to county officials.

PORTLAND, OR — City officials on Friday announced the last of four full closures on Interstate-5 would begin at 10 p.m. and continue to Monday, May 15. Weekend commuters are advised to plan their detours accordingly.
According to Multnomah County spokesman Mike Mullen, the northbound lanes of Interstate-5 will close between the Marquam and Fremont bridges from 10 p.m. May 12 to as late as 4:30 a.m. May 15.
This will be the last full directional closure on I-5 for the scheduled Burnside Bridge repairs, Pulled said in a statement.

Northbound commuters on I-5 will be diverted to Interstate-405 northbound (exit 299B) at the Ross Island Bridge junction. Northbound I-5 can be resumed after crossing the Fremont Bridge.

From Pullen:
The following on- and- off-ramps will close to keep travelers out of the work zone:

- I-405 southbound SW Fifth Avenue on-ramp. Detour: I-405 southbound SW Broadway on-ramp
- Interstate 84 westbound off-ramp to I-5 northbound and Convention Center/Moda Center from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday. Detour: I-5 southbound to I-405 northbound (exit 0) to reach I-84 (exit 301).
- I-84 eastbound on-ramp from the Morrison Bridge. Detour: I-84 eastbound on-ramps at NE Grand at NE Everett.
The freeway closure will add to congestion so travelers should consider using other routes, including surface streets, or taking transit, depending on their travel plans.
