Massage Therapist Arrested Again, Charged With Sex Crimes Against More Clients

Benjamin Collura pleaded not guilty March 9. He was re-arrested after six women came forward while he was free on bail.

A massage therapist arrested earlier this month on charges he sexually abused a client was arrested again while free on bail and charged with additional sex crimes against six women who accused him of abusing them, too.

Benjamin Collura was first arrested on March 9 stemming from a single incident at River's Edge Hotel and Spa where a massage client reported to police that he touched her inappropriately with such force she "suffered cervical abrasion," according to court papers.

Collura pleaded not guilty and was released on bail.

While Collura was free, the six additional women came forward and said they, too, were abused, which resulted in a 12-count indictment. Collura was arrested Tuesday and is now charged with one felony count of second-degree sexual abuse and 11 misdemeanor counts of third-degree sexual abuse.

He is accused in the indictment of touching the women's breasts and genitals and forcing them to touch his genitals.

He was arraigned Wednesday, again pleaded not guilty and again was released on bail.

The charges span from November 2012 to late February when Collura worked as a massage therapist at River's Edge and at a previous employer, Massage Envy, Jeffrey Auxier Multnomah County deputy district attorney, told the Oregonian.
