Bail Increased for Man Accused of Killing Dog
Man charged with stealing car and death of dog on April 7.

Francisco Gonzalez, who is charged with causing the death of Kona the dog when he left him locked inside a car he stole, had his bail increased Monday.
Gonzalez was indicted last week on drug and theft charges as well as well as five counts related to the death of Kona.
Gonzalez pleaded not guilty.

Prosecutors say that Gonzalez stole a car belonging to William Robbins on April 7.
On surveillance tape, Kona can be seen in the car as Gonzalez got it in and drove away.

"I'll never forgive this guy," Robbins told the judge.
"I'll never forget this. This guy to me is the lowest of the low. I hope he never gets out."
The car was later recovered with Kona dead inside.
The judge increased Gonzalez's bail to $135,000 from $33,000.
In a related case, Gonzalez's wife, 33-year-old Linda Kathy Gutierrez was indicted for Hindering Prosecution.
