The union has been in a back and forth with city leaders over staffing issues.
Earlier this year, the city said they would stop approving permits for some events because they could no longer get enough officers to staff them.
Bailey also received an endorsement from the teachers's union.
Wheeler has several union endorsements as well.
The two split endorsements from the firefighters union and AFSCME Local 189.
The Primary is May 17.
