Kasich Makes Significant Oregon Ad Buy Ahead of Portland Town Hall
Looking to make up ground lost by failing to get in state's voter guide.

Ohio Governor John Kasich, one day ahead of a town hall meeting in Portland, has unveiled a new campaign ad that doesn't tell the full story.
"Ted Cruz pulled out of Oregon, and John Kasich is the only one that can stop Trump and defeat Hillary Clinton in the fall," the narrator says, neglecting to mention that the Texas senator did that in return for Kasich pulling out of Indiana.
The deal, which was announced over the weekend, was meant to allow each candidate to focus resources on certain states and hopefully deny Donald Trump the delegates he needs to wrap up the nomination before the Republican Convention.
