A man attacking clerks at a gas station was shot and killed by a police officer in Kelso on Wednesday morning.It happened just after 8:00.The officer arrived at the Flying K gas station on First Avenue at the foot of the Allen Steet Bridge.The man was attacking two clerks when the officer arrived.He also struck the officer who, at one point, fired his gun, killing the man.The officer was taken to a local hospital.Image via ShutterStock

A man attacking clerks at a gas station was shot and killed by a police officer in Kelso on Wednesday morning.

It happened just after 8:00.The officer arrived at the Flying K gas station on First Avenue at the foot of the Allen Steet Bridge.

The man was attacking two clerks when the officer arrived.He also struck the officer who, at one point, fired his gun, killing the man.
