Lars Larson Will Be in the Room Where it Happens
Portland's export to the world of talk radio will be at the White House Press Briefing on Wednesday - via Skype - and may get a question in.

Lars Larson, Portland's export to the world of talk radio, will be in the room where it happens on Wednesday. Larson, the conservative talk show host whose show is syndicated around the country, will be one of the first four people to get "Skype seats" at the White House press briefing.
White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer had announced the idea of the "Skype seats" at his first press briefing. Outlets from around the country that normally would not have someone assigned to the White House will have a chance to be in the room and ask a question.
Larson will be "joined" in the Skype row by Natalia Herbick of Fox 8 in Cleveland, Kimberly Kalunian of WPRI in Providence, R.I., and Jeff Jobe of Kentucky's Jobe Publishing, a group of newspapers in the southern part of the state.

Larson has often used his show to support Trump - even devoting a hour recently to the question of will President Trump ever be treated fair by the media. Jobe's papers endorsed Trump. Kalunian is from Spicer's home state and recently interviewed him.
"Not sure how she snuck in there," Spicer said, announcing her selection.

If one of them gets to ask a question, it will be the first time a question has been asked by someone not in the room.
