Law Enfocement Says Raid Nets Five Members of Brood Gang
Joint operation between Portland Police and Multnomah County Sheriff's Office results in seizure of drugs and a stolen car.

An early morning raid by Portland Police and the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office resulted in the arrest of five alleged members of the Brood street gang. The raid also resulted in the seizure of methamphetamine, a stolen car, scales, packing material and items used for ID theft.
The law enforcement agencies executed search warrants at 5320 SE 122nd and a nearby apartment. The operation was coordinated by the sheriff's office Special Investigations Unit and the police bureau's neighborhood response team.
The investigation started after complaints from neighbors in the area.

Detectives determined that the home, which had been left vacant, was being used by the gang as a base of operations as they sold drugs and stole cars. They also believe the gang was trying to take over the property.
Arrested were: John Phillips, 47; Kyleah Hegre, 22; Donald Michaels, 43; Shawna Rodriguez, 27; and Charles O'Neill, 20.
