Police arrived at Northeast Martin Luther King Boulevard and East Burnside Street just before 7:00 Friday morning for the report of a hit and run crash. They were told the suspect was running down Grand Avenue being chased bystanders.They caught up with the man and took him into custody.Police say that they arrested Jacob John Bunker, 35, and charged him with unlawful possession a motor vehicle and failure to perform the duties of a driver.They determined the vehicle had been stolen earlier in the morning from Delta Farms in Northwest Portland.

They caught up with the man and took him into custody.Police say that they arrested Jacob John Bunker, 35, and charged him with unlawful possession a motor vehicle and failure to perform the duties of a driver.

They determined the vehicle had been stolen earlier in the morning from Delta Farms in Northwest Portland.

Police say that Jacob John Bunker was arrested after fleeing the crash.
