Man Arrested for Impersonating Police Officer
Police are trying to locate the two girls that they believe he approached.
Portland Police hope to find two girls between 10 and 13 years old who were riding skateboards in the area of Northeast 132nd Avenue and San Rafael Street on Sunday.
A witness saw a man in a Lincoln Town Car flash red and blue lights and try to pull them over.
The witness was suspicious, called 911, and pulled up behind the Lincoln, which quickly sped away.

Giving chase, the witness estimated the Lincoln was going more than 60 m.p.h..
He caught up with the car at Northeast 146th and Halsey and could see several electronic items on the dashboard, The witness confronted the man in the Lincoln who allegedly offered to give the witness the red and blue lights.

By this time, the police arrived and discovered, besides the lights, a video dash cam, radar scanner, and a replica firearm/bb gun.
The driver, 54-year-old Octavio Perez, was arrested and charged with criminal impersonation.
