Man Who Fired At Cops Gets 15 Years
Bucher had fired dozens of bullets from an automatic rifle from his mobile home last May.

Timothy Bucher, who fired dozens of bullets from his automatic rifle at police last May during a standoff at a mobile home park, will spend the next 15 years in prison.
No officers were injured in the incident at the Fox Run RV Park in Northeast Portland, which lasted for more than one hour.
Bucher had argued with his wife earlier in the day, which he followed with an altercation with some Spanish-speaking neighbors whom he told to go back to Mexico.

He then went into his mobile home and when police told him to come out, he started firing. A police dog was sent in at one point but Bucher choked the dog though he didn't seriously injure him.

He finally came out after officers fired tear gas.
Bucher pleaded no contest to attempted murder, intimidation, and unlawful use of a weapon.
