Scott Busch had the right of way when he was crossing Southwest Morrison and Fifth the morning of March 16, 2015.It was 6 a.m. and he was headed to his job at U.S. Bank.As he crossed the street, a garbage truck belonging to Allied Waste Services made an illegal turn, crashing into Busch, severing his left leg.Busch sued and on Friday, a jury in Multnomah County Court awarded him $13.5 million - $3 million for medical and other expenses and $10.5 million for pain suffering.They also awarded Busch's wife $400,000.
