Marina Fire causes tens of millions in damage
A massive four-alarm fire that damaged or destroyed hundreds of boats causes $24 million in damage. Cause is still being investigated.

Fire investigators are still trying to determine what caused a fire that went to four alarms before being brought under control.
Hundreds of thousands of gallons of water were needed to fight the fire at Sundance Marina over more than five hours.
The Portland Water Bureau estimates that Fire and Rescue crews used between 700 and 4,200 gallons per minute while fireboats were pumping around 9,500 gallons per minute.

Initial estimates are that the loss was $24 million.
Investigators have still not been able to get into the storage area, where the fire is believed to have started, to do their work.

Backhoes are being used to remove debris and help investigators get access to the site.
The facility, which dry docks boats, had around 350 ships inside.
