He was most recently deported in 2013.
While officials say that until the shooting Monday, none of Oseguera-Gonzalez's crimes had been serious, it was enough for Trump, the presumptive Republican nominee.
These crimes won't be happening if I'm elected POTUS. Killer should have never been here. #AmericaFirst https://t.co/XDGKaj0ico

Oseguera-Gonzalez is charged with three counts of murder and one count of attempted murder.
He pleaded not guilty when he appeared in court on Tuesday.
The Marion County Sheriff's Office says that Oseguera-Gonzalez was arrested Monday on I-84 east Of Portland after fleeing a home just outside of Woodburn where he shot four people.
The sheriff's office was called to the 13000 block of Killiam Road N.E. just after 11 a.m. Monday.
There they found four people who had been shot. Two were dead and two were critically injured and rushed to hospitals.
One of those people died at the hospital.
The sheriff's office says that three of the people who were shot - Ruben Rigoberto-Reyes, 60, Edmundo Amaro-Bajonero, 26, and Refugio Modesto-DeLaCruz, 27 - all lived at the home where they were shot.
Amaro-Bajonero and Rigoberto-Reyes were pronounced dead the scene.
Modesto-DeLaCruz was transported to OHSU where is in critical condition but expected to survive.
The fourth victim - Katie Gildersleeve, 30, lived in Logsden, Oregon. She was rushed to Legacy Emanuel Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The sheriff's office says that Gildersleeve was the girlfriend of another resident of the home who was not there at the time of the shooting.
According court documents, Oseguera-Gonzalez told investigators that he had shot all four people.
Some media - not Patch - reported that a marijuana grow may have been a factor in the shooting but the sheriff's office says the grow is on another property and not connected to the incident.
The home where the shooting happened is located on a blueberry farm.
Officials said Tuesday they are still trying to determine a motive.
They do know that Oseguera-Gonzalez was a frequent visitor to the farm.
