MidSummer Triathlon To Close Parts Of Marine Drive Sunday
The July 30 event will close large portions of several Northeast Portland roads Sunday morning. Officials advise using alternate routes.

PORTLAND, OR — Multnomah County officials want to remind residents and commuters to plan accordingly around the MidSummer Triathlon scheduled for Sunday morning.
From 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. July 30, Northeast Marine Drive will be closed between Northeast Sundial Road and Northeast 33rd Drive; Northeast Blue Lake Road will be closed between Northeast Marine Drive and the entrance to Blue Lake Park; and Northwest Sundial Road will be closed between Northwest Graham Road and Northeast Marine Drive.
County officials suggest through traffic use Northeast Sandy Boulevard or Interstate-84 to Interstate-5. Access to Northeast Marine Drive will be reserved for local residents and emergency vehicles, officials said.
