Nov. 6 Ballots Go Out Wednesday In Oregon

The U.S. Postal Service on Wednesday began dispersing election ballots for Nov. 6. Ballots should be received no later than Oct. 25.

From Multnomah County: The U.S. Postal Service has begun delivering ballots today, Wednesday, October 17 for the November 6 General Election. Multnomah County voters who do not receive a ballot by Thursday, October 25 should call the county elections office at 503-988-3720. Voters can sign up to track their ballot and get a virtual “I Voted” sticker. Text, email, or voice alerts tell voters when the county elections office has mailed ballots. Alerts indicate whether the ballot has been accepted for counting or whether it requires further action by the voter. Multnomah County voters can sign up by visiting multnomah.ballottrax.net.

Inside the “Accepted Ballot” message voters will get access to a special Oregon “I Voted” sticker ready to share on social media. The virtual “I Voted” sticker is available in English and nine additional languages. “I Voted” is written within the Oregon state shape in the state flag colors of navy blue and gold. For the November 6 General Election, Multnomah County Elections will open an additional location in Gresham. The Voting Center Express will open October 22 - November 6 inside the Multnomah County East Building at 600 NE 8th Street. Voters will be able to replace a lost ballot, get help voting, ask questions, or vote in person at the Voting Center Express in downtown Gresham. There is a new 24-hour official ballot drop site at the Mount Hood Community College Maywood Park Center at the NE 102nd west parking lot entrance, located at 4390 NE 102nd Ave., Portland 97220 Voters can now return ballots to the new Parkrose Neighborhood official ballot drop box. A voted ballot can also be sent to the elections office with one first-class stamp or by dropping it off at any official ballot drop site in Oregon.
