Oregon Brewers Fest: How To Get Discounted Rides Home

The city government is partnering with Uber, Lyft and tons of taxi companies to provide discounted rides home. Don't drive drunk.

PORTLAND, OR — With the Oregon Brewers Festival starting today, many of us plan on imbibing a good bit of delicious craft beer today. While it's great to appreciate the hard work and creativity of local brewers, it's vital to get home safe.

That's why the Portland Bureau of Transportation is partnering with several companies to provide discounted and inexpensive ways for festival goers to get home for the whole length of the event.

Beer lovers will be able to pick up coupons at the Brewers Festival for up to $20 savings on rides from these taxi companies: Radio Cab, Broadway Cab, Union Cab, New Rose City Cab, New Green Cab, PDX Yellow Cab, Flat Cab, and United Independent Cab.
