Oregon City Working on its Goals
City officials will gather Saturday to talk about where they are, what they've accomplished and where they are headed

Things have been looking pretty good for Oregon City.
Just how good - and bad - will be the subject of an all day discuss at the Pioneer Community Center on Saturday.
Mayor Dan Holladay, members of the City Commission and other such as City Manager Tony Konkol, who just received the official title after serving as interim, will look at the goals they set last year and figure out where they are.

The goals they set last year were: maintaining an environment for successful economic development; addressing critical facility needs; enhancing the livability of the community; seeking opportunities to maintain communications and facilitate citizen participation; and maintaining fiscal health and long term stability.
The accomplishments range from the Library starting construction on its new building after years of discussion to the police department's working with the Oregon City School District to make sure everyone knows what to do if there ever is an active shooter incident.
