BREAKING OREGON WEATHER: NWS Says Two Tornados Hit the Coast Friday
Tornado was an F-2. More than 100 buildings were damaged.

The National Weather Service says now that two water spouts moved ashore along the Oregon Coast Friday. The first one was in Oceanside where there have no been reports of damage. The second one was in Manzanita where there was significant damage.
The tornado hit Manzanita around 8:25 Friday morning. Two business were destroyed and five houses were damaged - one of which is now uninhabitable.
The National Weather Service's Portland Office says that the last tornado warning they issued was on November 23, 2014 and that they have issued only five between 2005 and yesterday.

The office says that before Friday, they had never issued two in one day.
On Friday, as of 12:30 in the afternoon, they had issued 10.

The NWS determined the tornado was a F2. More than 120 structures were damaged over a three block wide path.
One person posted a video to YouTube of the funnel cloud moving toward shore.
The American Red Cross Cascades Region has set up a temporary shelter in Manzanita for those in Tillamook County displaced by the storm.
It's located at the Calvary Bible Church at 560 Laneda Avenue.
More than a dozen trees were uprooted through Manzanita and several power lines were knocked down.
People went on social media to post pictures of trees down and other damage.
