A Medford man was arrested Thursday afternoon by the FBI and charged with threatening the President of the United States.John Martin Roos was taken into custody and is currently being held in the Jackson County Jail.The FBI, working with the Secret Service, had arrived at Roos's apartment and found another man there. He was questioned and eventually released.Roos, who was found another location and arrested.In the apartment, agents found what the FBI says "appeared to be several pipe bombs.The Oregon State Police Explosives Unit rendered the devices safe.Roos is expected to be arranged in federal court in a few days.
