Oregon Man Arrested for Threatening the President
Medford man was arrested Thursday with explosives in his apartment.

A Medford man was arrested Thursday afternoon by the FBI and charged with threatening the President of the United States.
John Martin Roos was taken into custody and is currently being held in the Jackson County Jail.
The FBI, working with the Secret Service, had arrived at Roos's apartment and found another man there. He was questioned and eventually released.

The Oregon State Police Explosives Unit rendered the devices safe.
Roos is expected to be arranged in federal court in a few days.
