Oregon Standoff Latest: Bundy Brothers to be Reunited

Judge says they can be in same jail as they prepare for trial.

It's not quite the Beatles getting back together.

A federal judge in Portland has ruled that Ammon and Ryan Bundy - the brothers at the center of the 41-day armed takeover of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge - can be reunited at the jail in downtown Portland.

Ammon had been placed at a separate facility as they await trial.

Ryan had petitioned the judge that they be in the same place to make it easier for them to work on their legal defense.

The judge agreed and Ammon will be moved from the jail in Northeast Portland to the one downtown.

The trial is scheduled to begin September 7th.

Meanwhile, the judge also said that co-defendant Jason Patrick could be released on bail.

In all, 26 people were indicted with the takeover. Seven have pleaded guilty.
