Cox will be released to his mother in central Oregon while Ryan will be allowed to stay with his parents in Plains, Montana.
Prosecutors had objected to Ryan being released, pointing out that he had fled and was arrested hiding in a shed with a gun and knives.
Ryan's lawyer admitted that his decision to flee was not the best and wrote it off him to being "a scared young man."
The trial is expected to start September 7th.
