Oregon Weather: Hey, Portland! Winter's Coming Back
The National Weather Service says that snow may be on its way.

It won't be the end of the world but it certainly may seem that way. After finally digging out from snow and watching the ice finally melt away - finally allowing kids to go back to school for more than two days in a row - winter weather is on its way back.
"The potential for wintry weather will make its way back into the Central and Northwest part of Oregon this week," the National Weather Service's Portland office warned on Monday.
"Starting on Wednesday, the Willamette Valley and Columbia River Gorge will likely see a mix of light snow and freezing rain."

The forecasters say that the first round "may be light but additional rounds of wintry weather will likely fall Thursday and Friday."
The accumulation in the Portland metro region won't be as bad as what hit earlier this month. Total snowfall for the three days in the Inland Valley area will be a trace - two inches.

The Cascades could see six-12 inches. The Gorge could see two-five inches.
"Road travel might difficult," forecasters say. "Please give yourself extra time."
